Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel on Monday drove the 3.2-mile race course planned for next years Grand Prix of America which will be in Weehawken and West New York.
Race organisers said the roads weren't surfaced at a sufficient standard for Vettel to take an F1 car around the route. So instead the German made do with an Infiniti IPL G Coupe reaching speeds between 85 and 100mph.
Vettel is already impressed with the circuit, "It's a pretty steep uphill and there are some nice corners up there, which makes it really fun to drive.
"It's truly unique" says the world champion and adds "And this," as he pointed behind him to the Manhattan skyline, "is unreal."
Video below doesn't show Vettel driving the whole route but shows him and David Coulthard being filmed with police escorts and doing doughnuts in the Infiniti's. Also included is a brief part of the press conference after which ends when the camera man decides he has no interest in Coulthard's statistics!
