An extract from the Formula One Season Review 2011 has been put forward by Spanish media as the day Jamie Alguersuari blew his chances of another season in F1 at Toro Rosso. The footage was recorded in the Toro Rosso pits during Saturday practice at Korea in October and was not shown on the FOM TV feed at the time.
It shows Alguersuari, being told off by Red Bull team consultant Helmut Marko who is the manager of the company's driver programme, with team boss Franz Tost onlooking. As can be seen by the video, Marko is raging with 21 year old Alguersuari, not just for holding up senior team Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel on a flying lap, but also for not accepting the rebuke.
A perplexed Marko says "did you see whats coming behind you" with Alguersuari replying "I saw" but then sarcastically inquiring if he has to move out of the way "every single lap" After a further brief exchange the conversation ends with Marko saying "no that's unacceptable" then turning to team boss Tost saying "Franz talk to him" before a final wave of the hand at Spaniard Alguersuari while adding "we don't accept that"
